Arch Mods Lowering 60mm?

   Sorry for a new topic again but i've been convinced to get a 60mm drop,my wheels are 195/40/16 so how much arch work would have to be done to get no rubbing on full lock etc. Thanks

   You should not need to do any arch work at all with 40 tyres. I'm down 40mm and they dont rub on full lock but I have 45 on the back and they do rub!!!
   
   I think you will be fine lowering 60mm.

   danny (dsh85) is down 60mm with no arch mods on 195/40's and gets no rubbing, as was danvtr_9 although he did remove the arch liners.

   all depends if u got a vtr/vts or a furio, as furios have smaller arches than the vtr/vts spec..even though they look the same .. the arches arent.

   i am down 60 and had no probs on front with 16s but caught on back so just had brackets cut back and is now fine

   it is true, you can ask a good bodystylist to check it out for yourself. cos i tried to fit 17s on my furio with 40 tyres. and it wasnt gonna happen, it wouldnt clear.

    they wont go on with no work,any vtr/s has to be have arch work to get 17s on

    that's because the furio rear axle is slightly narrower than the vtr/s one. you need to fit 3-5mm spacers when fitting them to a furio/westcoast, other wise they will rub on the inner arch, whereas on a vt* they wouldn't.
