tool kit advice?

I've bought a lifting kit...jack, chocks, axle stands...etc. I'm after a tool kit now though, I'm wondering what the main focus would be on? Sockets? Spanners? The 235 piece toolkit from halfords gets good reviews:

I'm guessing I'll need an oil filter removal tool as well. Anything else you can think of that's not covered in there?

    Merry Christmas by the way!

Depends on how much your going to use the kit, I wouldn't recomend that kit tbh the stuff breaks and rounds quite easy, the Halfords advanced stuff is alot better but its more expensive but does come with a lifetime guarantee

That one is pretty good. You dont actually need an oil filter spanner but makes life easier.

Ok excellent, Worth the extra cash for the lifetime guarantee for definite. LOVE how there's missing bits from the photo though! haha

They are the bits out the box next to it haha

Yeah I facepalmed seconds after posting that, then my lunch came and forgot about it in a flurry of sandwiches, mince pies and thorntons chocolates. Will be picking that kit up on the 27th, cheers for the advice

Depending on what year your Saxo is, you don't need a oil filter removal tool. iirc, 2001 onwards its the paper element filter, all you need is 30mm socket.

    This one would do.

I personally find these bad boys better for getting Mk1 oil filters off anyways. They don't look exactly like this but you get what i mean.

For the price of a filter its so much easier to stake with a screwdriver!

I use Snap-on Stuff everyday in work , mega expensive but the best you can buy

However , ive just picked up one of those 150 piece kits from halfords to keep at home and in the car if im going anywhere , its a hell of a set , and cant complaint at the quality , specially with the lifetime gaurentee. Means the super expensive stuff can stay in work , the biggest expence i seem to have it lost tools not broken ones

I was going to get the 235 piece toolkit from halfords but I had a look and they were very poor quality the halfords own brand tool looked better tbh!
