sportex centre pipe too long

   bought a sportex centre pipe silencer-less but chose the right one (saxo 1997 1.1) but it is about 9 inches to long, its says direct fit? its all the correct shape as in bends. On my car the cat has a 12 inch piece of pipe welded to it and the exhaust over laps it by about 6 - 7 inches? they both taper and fit but if i fit them the box back box would stick about a foot out the back? any one had this problem at all? i cannot saw it as would then be two large in diameter

   what back box have you got, and is that part a specialist saxo one or universal?

   yh i bought a back box with it same website all for 1.1 96 - 2000 saxo but the centre pipe is too long i dont understand why?
