Hi in real trouble MOT passed the other day but the manifold was an advisory because the connector that joins to the beginning of the centre pipe (with cat) is detiriated but was only an advisory. This morning a loud noise from my exhaust so looked underneath and the connector on the end of the mani has collapsed with the centre section trailing on the floor. So new mani by the looks of it but were can i get a new one from? only want an origional replacement no raceland versions or anything unless their about the same price.

Really need to know guys because mecanic is going to tow car tomorrow morning and i want to supply the part to make it cheaper

    Cheers

If its a mk2 then the cat will be in the manifold and more expensive.

If its mk1 then its just the downpipe you need to replace.

    euro carparts, citroen, motor factors.

this happened to my mates quicksilver and he just got it up on the ramps and welded it together must admit it was a bodge but it worked, but only for a little while.

had this only a couple of weeks ago, went to a garage down the road and they welded it up for £20 quid. not a bad job either.

not bad idea guys but its a quick fix and not worth it if it goes at anytime especially if your driving. For what it costs and the time involved best replace. When replacing the down pipe is their any gaskets or anything to replace with it or is it just the case of a quick swap.
