hey john do you know if you can replace the cv joint from the driveshaft on these? i know the bearing race is moulded into the shaft itself, the reason i ask is because i brought a driveshaft from ebay with the tapered end and mines a flat end,so im thinking i can just swap the axle ends over, ive actualy removed the ends useing a flat screw driver, as the ends held on by a metal tripod clip thingy, but it looks like once it comes off its impossible to put back on?

succesfuly completed operation driveshaft!! it was an absolute nightmare to get that clip back on! but for everyone else out there it is possible! you just need determination and the will to not give up and handover £60.00 for a new driveshaft! and a good set of flat bladed screw drivers!!

lol yea i know but tbh i thought it would of been the right shaft because it came from the exact same year/model car as mine and at the time i knew nothing about the two differences in the driveshafts ,both shafts were useless to me so i had nothing to loose by not trying.
