Important! : Wiper Linkages..:( HELP

   I have vtr with no wipers,what so ever ha.. I have tryd a new linkage and it wasnt working im gettin another set 2mro could anyone give me some tips.. Iv gone threw 2 motors already Very annoying to say the least

   Get an albanian to lye on your roof with a squeegee and wipe

   My linkages have disconnected/broken to, much job to change/fix them?

   sounds like your relay is gone, its behind the cover on the left hand side of the dash, blue relay iirc
   
   im 99% sure im right btw

   Or the yellow 20a fuse near the middle of them all

   however i had the exact same problem as the op and i changed numerous wiper motor mechanisms and indicator stalks. the problem turned out to be the relay, quite a common issue tbh

   Just wondering OP, or anyone else thats had this problem etc..
   
   Do your wipers not work at all..Front and back, Including washers?
   
   I've got the same problem..and haven't got to the bottom of it yet.
   Changed the stalk and it had a new wiper motor 6 months ago.
   
   so, the its likely to be the fuse or relay?

   Can anyone tell me if the relay has gone what way the wipers will act if this is the case.. Thanks for the replys lads

   they won't. sit in the car with the ignition on, and when you put the stalk up one notch (intemittant) you should hear the relay click under the glovebox

    no, if the relay broke they just wouldn't work full stop, due to the way relays work.

    Well it aint my relay so.. The motor works but the wipers wont sit rite on the linkage
