Hi guys, wondering whats the best way to clean a cylinder head, workmen got sawdust all over the place and has landed in the replacement cylinderhead.. so just needing to give it a clean but unsure whats the best product to use that wont cause rust issues etc.

#2petrol or carb cleaner something that is used on engines or in it best bet petrol expencive but worth it

#4the heads alloy so ive used a pressure washer in the past. Other than that paraffin, petrol etc. I always find it useful when people fill their cars up with the wrong fuel to keep what you drain out for this very purpose

#5Yes as said petrol is the easiest - just don't smoke whilst you're doing it

#7I thought water would rust the valve springs? maby im wrong then.
Also - to clean the heads of the cylinder/valves just use a wire brush? or use scouring pad? -
