Wing mirror change

   I have a VTR with VTR wing mirrors on, but i have ended up with a set of VTS ones. My VTR ones need replacing so i was thinking about using the VTS ones i have, is it possible to either:
   A- take the mirror front off the VTS ones and make them manual or
   B- make the VTS ones work by getting wires from somewhere (breakers etc) and mounting them, just wondering if this has been done before or is possible?

   sorry to hijack the thread, but thought its easier to post in here, what t ' screwdriver do i need to undo the srews to take off the wing mirrors?

   sorry cant help you there pal, i think its something like t-25, or t20, i cant remember which i used, if u got a set try them until you find one that fits i guess?

   I think we need more info, what's wrong with the VTR ones?
   
   and it's a T20.

   The VTR ones are just looking tacky worn and scuffed, they do work, just want them tiding up if im honest,
   
   and got these vts ones here so just thinking about possibilities

   you can change the mirrors on the front yes...but they have a high chance of cracking when taking them off lol...you could just put the vts mirrors on and then just adjust them by pushing the actual mirror, like you would with dtm or m3 mirrors?? would be alot easier than running endless amounts of wires lol

   dont think so, but just wondering about the elctrics if it is possible to wire the electrics in as i quiet fancy having them electric.
   
   And goldsax i could do that, and would do at as a last resort but want to try and do a proper job first
   
   
   Going to ring a breakers and check the forsale section on here for someone breaking a vts and see if i can get the wiring.
