    Hey guys.

Last week i have my car MOT'D and it passed, Long story short. Picked her up last friday..... Great. However on Saturday (xmas day) Tryed firing her up around lunchtime. Nothing, no life, Just turned over but wouldnt fire up. so i used my dads car. On Monday, Daddy dearest took my battery off and put it on charge. After 8hours i came home from work, Slapped the battery back on and away we were, Bang Tidy!
Yesterday, Woke up jumped in the beast and she worked, needed a lil persuation but fired up none the less. Used her on and off for a few times during the day no problem.

    This morning.
Woke up and she wouldnt fire up again just turned over and over, so i bump started her, Little push and she fired up
    After work
Jumped in her, wouldnt start but the odd thing was she turned over once or twice then just cut. Which hasnt happened before. But again a little bump start and she fired up sweet as a nut.
Personally i think the battery is fubered but ive only had it like 6months, so could that really be the problem? But other than that what else is there?

    Many Thanks,
    Nick

Sounds like it could be the alternator

    Expensive job?

    Alternator is gone

    Or battery isn't holding charge.

Get it tested and you'll soon find out

Depends check all the little wires that connect to the alternator as a chap on here had same problem not that long ago as one wire had broke off
But depends how much u can either get a brand new one or get it re conditioned but I don't know how much either is personally as havent done it before

So just pop to halfords first thing and ask for a battery/ alternator test? Is it really that simple?
