Was just a joke with another member, would the 3.0 V6 fit in a saxo or 106

Im sure everyones seen the top gear with the 306 thats got one, but ive heard a few have dropped them in saxos

Edit: Yes i know the weight of it would make the handling rather way-ward

(anyone whos interested, found this, engine, ecu, loom and Gbox for just over 300)

yes it would fit, you would need DEEP pockets though.

and as stated above its not a great engine for the hassle involved (which is a HUGE task btw).

for the monies turbo, supercharge or get bodies.

Yeh, if u have enough cash, u can fit any engine to any car.
Mi16 180 or k20 vtec engine would be more worth the hassle imo

Its a VERY good engine, just detuned due to European insurance classes at the time.

BUT, its just too Fecking big physically to fit in the front of a saxo, it just about fits in a 205/309 without any shell mods, as well as 306's and berlingos.

Clio V6 used these mildly tuned for 255 bhp, as standard they have around 200lbft, with a monster curve that a 4 pot simply will not compete with.
