Caliper Paint - Brush or Spray paint?

As per the title, is one better than the other?
The only advantage I can see is the brush paint being less messy.

    Thanks, Aaron

depends .. what depth do you want to go into with prep ??? if your going to do it properly then you`d be better off prepping them properly and giving them about 4 coats of spray ... or just do the easy way like i have done and just paint them with brush wilst there still on there with metal paint eg hamerite or something similar, they will easily last you a year .. i wouldnt no how long the spray would last ...

Spray gives better finish but quicker to brush

brush as you can slap loads on and have a nice thick coat, hammerite is fine for it

Ok thanks, I will be pairing them while they are on the car so I think I'll stick to the brush

If your leaving them on the car then yeah brush them. Build up thin coats though else it sets too thick, runs and looks crap

What solution did you use to clean them?
I've read using fairy liquid or car wash in some water will be fine but then others have said use oil/ grease remover, should I get this?
    Thanks

Grease remover would be better as it Made for that sort of thing If u wanted to do it on the cheap fairy liquid would be gd
