Immoboliser flashing, wont start

   The flashing key symbol is on and it wont start at all. I am assuming this is because of the key, as it has fell apart, ie the red light has gone. Does this key have a chip or something in it? Is there anyway of bypassing the immoboliser as the expense of getting a new key and having it programmed is just too much.

   You'll have to get yourself a new key & programmed by the looks of it.
   I'm sure there's a way to bypass the immobiliser/remove it, but then your cars just a sitting duck for a free cruise off anyone that wants a go really...
   
   Your choice but I personally would grab myself a new key etc.
