Either I'll do it meself or I'll take it to a garage (garage will be getting it soon anyway as needing a new clutch imminently I suspect...) but to change the oil is it better to have the engine warmed up or not?
Cheers

ye warm it up for 15 mins before, else your gonna be stood in the pit waiting literally about a year, then check oil next morning first thing when cold to see that it filled to right height

Ideally best to have it warm, removes more of the sludge.

Run the engine for abit, or take it for a run then change it.
it allows the Oil to come out easier due to being warm/thinner.
