orite i have read that on a mk2 saxo you can start the car and then disconect the black box under the pass dash,

but im only doing this to see if it is my problem,

question is, if i do this and it is not this is it just a case of reconecting with the car running to refit?

its eather my immobiliser or something to do with the fueling

    answer asap would be great

if you start your car and remove the box as you said you will unlock your ecu and have no future problems starting your car without it, if you want to put it back it i guess its as straight foward as how you removed it and will lock your ecu back to your key i think. hope this helps

turns out its not the immobiliser, it starts fine sometimes like 5 times in a row then all off a suden it will take about 10 seconds to start, like u can hear the starter motor working for 10 secs then it starts, what u think the problem is?

Whats it do? Like make a noise and then you have to turn the key on again? Ofso could be a sticky starter motor
