Front Bumper

    Hey i need to know were all the bolts are to take the fornt bumper off got the back off fine but front is being a pain in the arse ?

    There are the following bolts to undo:

    2x 10mm bolts on the outer side of the bumper, near the top where the bumper brackets meet the wings

    2x t20 torx bits where the very corner of the bumper (small flap) screws into the wing, visible from inside the wheel arch

    2x 10mm bolts under where the headlights sit

    2x 10mm bolts on the underside of the bumper where it bolts onto the lower cross member

    2x t30 torx bits where the bottom bumper screws onto the arch liners

    obviously when i say 2x it means theres 1 on each side of the bumper.

    cheers for that will try it again tomorrow also what is the best way to pull the headlight out as i broke both clips on it today trying to pull it out ? cheers

    what do you mean by pull it out ?? there crewed in arnt they ?

    The headlights are screwed in mate, the indicators pull out but only after you've taken the headlights out.

    unless its a mk2 ... indercaters are attatched

    yep its mk2 and they are screwed in but when i took the screws out it was still tight trying to pull it out and when i gave it a pull both the clips broke off, maybe just a bit to rough and was getting dark i dunno pain in the arse lol

    every time try to do something something else goes wrong lol

    yeah nothing ever goes simple when your working on a saxo lol but yeah when i unscrewed mine the came out easy ... didnt have to pull them out

    aah strange im buying new ones now anyway so the morn ill give the other one a bash hopefully they wont snap not that im bothered but will be skeptical to take out the new ones at anytime if they do haha

    They are hard to pull out normally
    What I would have done is to lower thefront bumper a bit as then they will come out easier

    well i was actually trying to get the front bumper off to get it sprayed and couldnt thought maybe something was holding it on under the light so tried getting that off haha but i now know were all the bolts are for the bumper so will be taking that off tomorrow.

    First car so just getting to grips with bits n bobs im sure ill get there in the end lol
