   i thinks its the pcv vavle on the top cover on a 2000 vtr
   
   i've broke the conection to the pipe on the left hand side going back towrds the throttle body
   
   
   will the car run ok till i get another ?

   it'll run fine but you might find that it revs itself... it wont cause any damage though.. all it does it takes the oil vapours back in through the TB blah blah blah..
