oil temp sensor/ handbrake light

   Handbrake light is constantly on, can anyone shed some light on this? Is the parking light on the dash just for the handbrake or is there anything else communicating with it?
   
   Another issue is my oil temp sensor, its does not seem to be moving, so just wondering which sensor in the engine bay communicates to the dash? the one under the sump?

   brake fluid level sensor maybe?

   my mate had this problem with his golf he changed handbrake switch and few other things but it turned out to be brake fluid so check that mate
