Mk1 VTS Engine Loom to a Mk2 VTR Interior Loom

I've tried searching, too many three lettered words to find anything useful.

What (if anything) would I need to change when connecting a Mk1 VTS engine loom to a Mk2 VTR interior loom?

Would everything work as normal? I'm guessing the clocks might play up a bit?

it may be easier to use a mk2 engine loom and change the sensors on the engine theres only a couple you need change. it works out alot easier in the long run. or if you can get your hands on an interior loom fit that and make it plug and play. the clocks are the biggest bummer when trying to integrate mk1 and mk2 looms

Ah right, so a Single Plug Mk2 loom will allow the clocks to work properly? And should have no problems with my Mk1 engine?

    Many Thanks

no, that still wont be plug and play. get a 3 plug loom

And its just a case of changing a few sensors for my engine? Are there many aftermarket ECU's out there that support 3 plug looms? Or is just a case of butchering the loom anyway?

Cheers all for the help. I do still have all my Mk1 VTS clocks and dash, guessing it would be far easier to use the Mk1 VTS interior loom too?

id personally say its much easier to change the engine loom than the interior loom, just need an injector loom, cts, tps off the top of my head

But then I'd need a 3 plug ECU then too surely? But as mentioned I'm going aftermarket so would it be much of an issue anyway?

yeah youd need a 3 plug until you fitted your standalone
