I changed the timing belt on my vtr 02 reg about 3 months ago and i thought it seemed ok but have recently been having a few problems with the car.. not sure whats going on but it sounds rough as! i need to change the cat (in the downpipe) some time this week as its nackered and i have a new 1 to fit so im hopeing that will help a bit.
anyway question is if the timing is slightly out will the revs stay high for longer when its revved in neutral? what other signs are there that it could be slightly out?
