Horn Wont work....

   I've recently changed to Angel eye headlights and have also taken my centre console out to paint it. Everythings fitted and just realised my horn wont work.. any ideas?

   Disconnect the horn put a test probe light on the plug that goes to the horn get someone to hold the horn push down.If the test light lights up then its new horn time.If not check the fuse if thats okay then you`ll need a new indicator stalk which has the horn push on.

   Could also be a fuse, its a wild guess but its also the easiest the test and fix

   always check fuses first mi amigo, saves a lot of hassle... if not go with stevo's advice

   Just seen the thread and thought id ask.. Can anyone tell me where the wires that conect to the actual horn can be found.. I have a 00vtr and there was an air horn connected up but the person i bought it off took it out and now the wires cant be found.. Any ideas

   Does your cigarette lighter work mate? Cos they are on the same fuse

   its the fuse numbered 5 for the horn

    The rear screen heater is on that same fuse.. Does that work?

    Never tried it mate, i've not got the lighter connected, so i think thats my problem

    not being funny. but my horn wasnt working , fucked about for a while and turns out the horn had fell of lol!

    Im going to try and sort this tomorrow, do you think if i had the lighter disconnected, this would stop the horn working?

    try spraying some wd40 in the horn itsself if the fuse isnt blown and youve tested the wires with a multimeter

    I've connected the lighter and still wont work, i dont use my horn, cba to fuck on with it.
