1.0 Saxo has spark and fuel not starting.

   Hi, just wondering if anyone out there can help me with this one, it's a s reg 1.0 saxo that will not start. it turns over fine, just will not fire. I've checked plugs and they all spark, i can hear the fuel pump and also there is fuel on the plugs when i removed them. When trying to start it back fires occasinally through the inlet, so i checked the engine timing and it all lines up spot on so the only other thing i could think of was the crank sensor but still it won't start. Any ideas? many thanks.

   you tried bump starting it?

   no not tried bump starting it as it seems to spin over normally on the starter.

   Try bump starting it 1st mate then if you still have probs change the crank sensor.

   thanks for the replies, i will try to bump start tomorrow. I have tried a crank sensor and had no luck.

   Maybe a faulty immobiliser mate.

   the immobiliser light goes out and i would of thougt that the immobiliser would cut the fuel supply but there is fuel getting to the engine and i can hear the fuel pump, are there any other sensors that could cause this fault?
