Passenger door doesn't lock

  1. #1
As title says, when locking the car with the fob, the passenger locking pin just bounces down, then back up.

The only way I can look it, is locking with the fob, open the passenger door, then push the pin down (with some force, might I add).

Any idea what could be causing it not to lock with central locking?

    Thanks, Kyle.

Thanks mate, I shall check it out.

It pulls it down, but not enough to stay down, so it just pops up again.

I'll do a search for a guide of how to fit a new one, hopefully I shall find one.

Its the door atcuator, it twist onto two little clips to hold in (have a look and you will gather what i mean). What normally happens is the actuator makes its way off these little clips so when you lock your car instead of the actuator being stuck solid to the door and pulling the button down and mechanism the actual actuator just move..... it basically jumps and do nothing, the odd time it might lock but not often. Mines llike it agin now but i had to bodge mine with a screw as my clips had bust.

I shall bear in mind the 'kick the shit out off it' method if nothing else works, lol.
