changing rear light bulbs

   Changed a blown rear brake light bulb in M-in-L Saxo automatic yesterday. Tested them to discover the other side was also not working. Checked that and found it was loose so reconnected it. Tested OK. However as she drove off one bulb didn't work and the circutiry played up by putting on the rear foglight instead. Why?

   Check your bulbs are in correctly..
   
   Also your wiring and fuses
