Do not buy any tyres coming out of china recently they are just awful.

Save up and get something decent that is safer for you and will last longer.

I'd never buy cheap tyres ever again, tyres make or break a car in my opinion.

If youre really low on funds and need some tyres for legal reasons then get some re-moulds while the weathers shite and just drive steady. Once the roads get better splash out on some proper rubber

What make do you reccommend? For nice tyres?

    Cheers

165/55/14 is a really unusual size tbh!! thats why there expencive and not a lot of choice! can you not change what size tyres you run go get a better price and choice?

what do all you have on your car then, all i know is that they need to be 55 or 50%, and 14 inch alloy, so what does the first three digits mean again?

If you have VTR alloys on your car then you would need 185/55/14 and I'm currently using Avon ZV3's which seem to be good.
  12. #12

Bit crap really, Toyo T1R's are cheap enough these days and an OK tyre.

I had a set of Federal SS on my 106 (on 17's) and they were good for the price. Not sure if you can get them in 14" but worth a look.
