    Yo saxbro's

Quick couple of q's about the whole painting and spraying process,

Sanding, primer, Glossing/other paint, sand, (repeat paint and sand) then laquer when its good?

A friend says I should have used filler primer, but i used a spray can after sanding..

Anyway here's a couple of pictures, to see if im in the right direction:

I'm aware that is a bit messy, but it'll be sanded down a bit and a new layer on...

And same thing with wheels right, sand away all the metal leaving shiny scratch marks, and no rust

I will continue to sand away the remaining rust from the outer section, and inside the hole in the middle (and the other side)- i was seeing how the primer settled on the area i had cleaned up..

    anyway yeh

You have put way too much paint on that mate, it shouldnt run.
Go easy on the spray and do it in light layers.
Also i wouldnt of done it outside as it needs a bit of heat to get it to set nicely.

Plastic primer on the bumper - normal primer on the wheels mate

You want to use panel wipe before you spray anything, cleans the area from all the grease marks you put on it with your hands, and any other crap the paint wil react with.

Your holding the can too close and spraying too much. Make sure you do thin small coats and you will be fine. Hold the spray can a good 2 foot back.

as said use plastic primer on bumpers and etch primer on metal after a rust treatment such as zinc phosphate treatment or else the rust will just come back. if you cant get anything else then rust remedy is better than nothing.
then primer filler let it dry for 24 hours 800-600 wet and dry then dry then base coat then dry for 6 hours then clear coat 6-8 inches away from what your spraying in nice short even coats.

I always use plastic filler primer on plastics because it hides tiny imperfections in the plastic its about the only good thing that Halfrauds sell.
