What is this?

   Tried to yank out my old drive shaft oil seals today then found a circle springy thing fell out.
   Anyone know what the circle spring thing is?

   Looks like the spring that comes with the seal it keeps the seal pressed onto the shaft

   thanks emi, as you can also see I've made quite a mess of the existing oil seal and still havent actually got it out yet!

   Lol yh I did see that it's no major as long as u have a new one some are right pigs to get out. But I've just checked at work and defo looks like the spring that come withe the seal
