handbrake help

could somebody tell me how to put a new handbrake for example a momo 1?does it involve cutting the plastic standard 1? also how would go about putting a gaitor on te handbrake? thanks alot guys!

just cut the old handle off carefullt with a knife as for the gaitor some of them come with velcro so it just attaches to the carpet

its reli easy to do, took me about 10 minutes. Jus get a stanley knife and cut along the length of the original handbrake, and it comes straight off. Underneath that its jus metal, so you then jus fit on the gaiter and then the handle using the adapters it should come with. All you should have to do is slide it on and it'll have grub screws which ull jus need to tighten.
The gaiter i had didnt have anythin to attach down to, so i just got sum sticky back velcro, stuck it the the gaiter and its now velcro'd down to the carpet.

mine took 2 days to do cos i had a narrow 1 n my handbrake gets thicker the further down i go, so had to cut it with a saw to make the handbrake fit
