Changing My Coilpack

  1. #1
    Afternoon Guys,

I Was Just Wondering If Anyone Knew Of Any Good Mobile Mechanics Around The Southampton Area.

I've Taken My Car Off The Road So I Can Get My Coilpack Sorted On My VTS So Any Advice Would Be Taken With Open Arms!

    Thanks,
    Matt

i dont see the point in spending an extra £90 for something which should do the same job.

    cheers,

dont get cheap shit mate, and go into euro car parts as they gave me the wrong coil pack twice.

It take two seconds to change.
There are about 6 torx bits holding coilpack cover on then about 5 torx bits on the coil pack, unclip and job done

    alright buddy,

i think i might give GSF a shot as they are £60 cheaper and i've used them before with no problem.

i'll get myself a haynes and give it a crack tomorrow

Just made a thread, have a look and see if its what i said.

As in it feels like its flat spotting?

If you get a new coilpack then ill fit it for ya no worries.

Make sure it is though first since i reckon it could be the MAP sensor!
