Need Help!

   Hapnin folks, recently my drivers side wheel area, is makin a terrible bangin noise when a hit a pot hole or a slight defect in the road. not sure what it is any1 got ideas what it could be??

   My first reaction would be to check the balljoint and pinch bolt area.

   I know its a long shot.. But my spring on my old VTR snapped and done near enough the same as what yours sounds like, the spring snaps and wraps around the top of the strut and any bump would make a bang sound.
