   Hapnin folks my car has recently started making a terrible bangin noise when i hit a pot hole or any slight defect in the road. its coming from the drivers side wheel area, any ideas what it could be??

   Whats it sound like when putting wheel on full lock? Could be the cv joint, The cover come off mine not that long ago and it dries out and wears easy.

   sound ok in full lock mate. u think it could be suspension?, ave got loweing springs on it. maybe driveshaft?

   Ive just got standard springs on mine. Might be worth taking the wheel off and having a look about to see if anything stands out

   Could be cv joint, you should easily be able to tell by looking at it and seeing if there's any wear on it.

   Or putting the steering on full lock if its gone you`ll hear a clonk noise.

   jus went out in car sounded alot worse, so had a loOk wen a got home cant really see nothing no bolts loose or anything lyk that, gna take it to ecosse c wat they say.
