Hi people Im just after a bit of advice regarding my T reg 1.1i saxo.
It kept overheating and losing all its water. On further investigation it was a split hose and the radiator had a massive hole in it and was gushing water. Ive replaced the hose and radiator and bled system. I drove to college (25 mile) and it was fine. when I left college to come back home (another 25 mile) the temp light would come on for 5 mins or so then go off again this happened several times all the way home, on for 5mins off for 10mins. My heaters are also blowing cold again. Its had a new thermostat so that rules out that sticking. The water pumps seems ok as I its flowing through the system (can see this when it was bled).
This was the first long journey Ive done since I replaced the radiator, is it possible it needs bleeding again? Would that cause the intermittent light and cold blowers?
