1.1 Engine

   Just a general question on the 1.1 engine.
   
   Can you make the engine into a 16v 1.1 or 1.2 or is there one that will fit. i was just thinking about it but dont think i would do

   You can put any of the saxo/106 engines in quite cheap now. You can fit the JP4 lump from 207 in, or the JP4S from the C2 vts in.
   
   With more work you can put 306 gti-6 in.

   i was looking at a 16v 1.1 or 1.2 16v just wanted to no if it can be done

   if you have a load of money to waste then yes.
   Otherwise the realistic answer is no, and why on earth would you want to?

   plus 16v are better on fuel efficiency.

   so how come the 1.6 8v saxo gets better mpg than the 1.6 16v lmao....
