Brake lights not working !?

   hi all,
   My brake lights dont work atall.
   Is there any common problems ? i've tried new bulbs.
   
   Another thing is when i start the car my side lights are instantly on without having the switch on.
   
   The 3rd light under my spoiler also stays on without having any lights on
   
   Could this be a switch / wiring fault ?

   First thing to check is the condition of the wiring around the back. No back light should have a permanent power feed with no switches on. Then check your switches (indicator stalk, brake light switch). Then check the earths around the back.

   Theres a switch on the pedal to check aswell!
