MK1 morrette fitting?

    the wiring tbh? and does the bumper need to come off?

    Nope bumper doesn't need to come off, my dad fitted my mk2 morettes and lined them up for me so i dont blind people when i have them on or fail me mot test

    Its mk1 morrettes and the wiring I am looking for not who fitted mk2 morrettes for you

    Have you been given the huge bundle of wires that the Mk1 morettes are supplied with? If so then none of it is needed. You can connect into existing wiring loom which already has everything in it which you could need

    yeah, so just plug the bulbs from the standard headlights and loom in?

    Yep plug in the usual main 3 plug into the back of the outer lens. Sidelight fits straight in.

    Then to connect up the middle lenses nearest the grille there should be 2 black wires coming out of the back which need to be connected.

    One of the wires on the main 3 plug is an earth so piggy back off that onto one of the black wires from the other lens. Then with the other 2 wires on the 3 plug is powered for dipped beam, and the other receives power with full beam so piggy back off that onto the other remaining black wire from the inner lens.

    The best way to piggy back is to get the piggy back type spade connectors
