Water temp warning light

   Hope someone can help with this one, I have a 1999 Saxo 1.1SX and the water temp warning light has come on and is glowing blue!!! I don't have the owners handbook so have no idea what this means. There is no temp gauge on the car but it seems to be running well and the heaters are working fine.

   It means your overheating mate,is the fan kicking in?

   Cheers mate that was what i feared just wondered why the light was blue and not red as per the norm, don't know about the fan but i'll check.

   i thought when it were blue the engine were cold like on first start up and red it were over heating

   I could be wrong(not the 1st time lol)but its not been stated if the light is coming on with the engine running after a while ie overheating

   I've just had the head gasket done on the car and the rad flushed. i picked it up today and after 20 miles the blue temp warning light came on, didn't check the fan though. i phoned the garage back and they had no idea what the blue water temp light meant. Its never come on before.
