89K Engine

1. SlackerVTS Newbie Joined: Jan 2011 Glenrothes, Fife Posts: 4 MK1 Saxo VTS 1.6 16v

   Just bought a VTS with 89K on it, was just wondering, which parts of it should I replace? Even if the parts are not needing replaced, replacing them would give me peace of mind.

   Full service. (oil filter, air filter, plugs, oil flush/oil, coolant, brake fluid, lube)
   Headgasket (use new bolts too)
   Timing belt kit
   Water pump
   
   Check your brakes over too & look out for any rust and get it sorted sooner rather than later

   Oil change / plugs / cambelt with tensioners
   
   Then modify the arse out of it
