Bear with me for this one.
I had a 106 GTi which had working remote central locking with non-keypad immobiliser. I am now in the process of putting my old Saxo with central locking and keypad immobiliser back on the road due to selling the 106.
Before I sold it I took the IR receiver out of the roof as it was going to be scrapped. Now when I had this car the remote central locking worked.
Now my question is, if I get a coded blipper for that IR receiver and plugged it into the Saxo, would I have working remote central locking. Don't want to buy on as it would be an expensive experiment.
