   stiffens up the front chassis legs to aid cornering. Most people find the lower strut brace does alot more than the upper in terms of perfomance

   Lower one is a wishbone brace not a strut brace.

   The lower one makes a noticeable difference imo, the top ones more for engine bling imo.

   holds the front end geometry in place under heavy cornering. you will find with standard bushes that they will flex instead. uprated bushes group-n, polybush or vibratechnics are the best bet.
   
   steer clear of powerflex, polyrace and the cheap ebay unbranded ones. i know because i have tryed all of the above.
   
   i managed to split open powerflex, polyrace and the cheap ebay unbranded ones. spoox and shenpar rear mounts wear far too quickly for the price too. all down to trackday driving tho. may well be fine on a raod car but why fit something you cant use in anger.
