im no expert, but you'll have to set the engine at TDC and lock the flywheel and cam pulley, whack a jack under the sump, take engine mount off, undo tensioner, slide belt off, replace water pump (two bolts easy), then slide new belt on and tension up properly and do everything back up

this is by no means a guide but if you have experience in repalcing a belt then you should be able to do it easy

Right , seeing as it sound like your apprentice mechanics , and without sounding patronising , its nice to see young lads coming into the trade so im always willin to lend a hand

anyway , first off , cam cover off , 2 x 10mm bolts , next work your way down , there should be 3 or 4 more holding it on , comes in 2 parts , upper and lower

next jack it up and pop your wheel off , remove the arch liner , this just makes life easier , take off your alternator belt, think this is 2 x 13mm bolts tentioner and lower mount , keep hold of the belt

there is a 12 sided socket if i remember rightly holding the bottom pulley on , at this point you can lock the flywheel , i think its an 8mm hole on the left of the engine by the bell housing this locates in the back of the flywheel and lock everythin , undo your bottom pulley and put it to one side

Now lock your cam shaft, this is a hole in the cam pulley and one in the head casting , slacken off your tentioner and slide off your timing belt , can be awquard due to the space but its easily done

On with your new belt , and tensioner if your replacing it , tension up the belt , think its a 6mm allen key , and then the rest is a reversal of taking it apart , turn the engine over a couple of times by hand to make sure it doesnt lock , and your away
