ive heard in a crash having harnesses attached the the seat belt mounts can seriously do damage to your back, i think theres an angle which the harnesses shouldnt go below, its best to get a bar welded in across the rear and mount them off that

think harnesses should be at 20 degrees cos if they are at 45 like these your collar bones can snap in an accident cos thats where the harness puts all the strain. or something like that
  21. #21
possable i supose! there only there till i get the cage in then they will be attatched to that

i love the yellow and black combo
  36. #36
I may be wrong here but aren't harnesses supposed to go to the points on the C pillar?

As having them where the rear bench goes will compress your spine if you have a crash?

I for one am not for the generic forum talk of "dont do it its a road car" etc. If you wanna strip your car out bud, get too it. Free performance upgrades
I am a big fan of the work and sometimes engineering that goes into a good stripped race ready car.
Here some from my MASSIVE (13,000!!) image folder:

(pics from alot of different peoples cars - Ryan, Rushy, Craig, Lewis, willsy, lea, colin, etc)

    Non saxo's/106

    Hope thats some inpiration

For whoever posted about mine earlier on, I got very lucky with my cage, it's all good. I've heard bad reports though, but they can't all bad because they use them in MSA log booked cars in rallycrossing.

Moxy - just so you know, you have GPS data embedded in those photos. If it doesn't bother you, no problem but just thought I'd mention it incase you didn't know and if DOES bother you...

    Means I can see this:
    http://maps.google.com/?q=50.9312883...37766666666667
    (and know you live here:
    14-36 Fuchsia Gardens
    Southampton SO16 6, UK)

If it's an issue shout and I'll edit this post asap, but you'll need to edit your photos to strip the gps stuff.
  65. #65
how the fuck you do that man... thats awesome...
  66. #66
how did you find that GPS shit out?!?! Thats nuts!

Moxy, I'm going to steal your bucket!

    haha quality photo

Some cameras store GPS data in the photo along with other tags - like the resolution, focus settings, and other camera settings. iPhone's are reknown for it.

Looks like your Sony DSC-HX5V does it as well
