engine turns over but wont start

   hi everyone
   
   right ive have had my engine out and had the ecu off and unplugged it all then put it all back in after working on it and put everything back together and now the engine management light is on and not starting just turning over. when i try to start it the eml light will flash. ive disconnected the battery and left it for half hour and try again but nothing changed. i dont no what else it could be unless ive locked the ecu.
   
   does anyone know whats wrong????

   sounds like your ecu has locked :/ i believe you can get them unlocked not to sure how tho. this can happen when you unplug your ecu its the only thing i can think of

   If the ecu is locked it normally flashes a key symbol up, are you sure you've connected all the sensors back in? Why did you take it out in the first place?

   Sounds like the ecu is locked. did you remove the grey immobilieser box while the car is running before removing the ECU?? if you didn't then its deffo your ECU you need to get it sent off iirc about £70 or so. yeah quite an expensive mistake i am afraid.

   the key light comes on then goes off doesnt flash so i no it not the immobiliser. i will check all the plugs and sensors 2mora i removed the ecu cos i thought it would be easier to remove the engine

   finally found the problem the inertia switch had been knocked stopping the fuel pushed it back in and now it works fine

   yer glad it wernt the ecu thou realived me abit lol
