Engine Management Light!!

   Hi Guys,
   
   Right, it started tonight when my mates wanted to hear my new exhaust system, so i was revving it quite a bit, then after turned the ignition off. Later on when i was about to leave i turned my engine on and the Engine Management Light Stopped on :/
   
   I drove home fine, didnt notice any loss of power or anything :/
   
   What could this be ??

   Lambda sensor sleeved, or in the right place?
   
   With your new exhaust, do you have a new manifold?

   Hi,
   
   Nope no new manifold, its been on 2 weeks with no problems umm, havent checked the lambda sensor though :/ could that have jumped off when revving it ?

   I doubt it.
   
   That was just my first thought as you said new exhaust system. As tonto said, get it scanned as the EML could literally be anything.

   My furio's EML came on when I got a new standard exhaust fitted, ats just kept turning it off for me everytime it came one. And now my new VTS came with the lite on due to the lack of cat in my saxsport...then after a wash yesterday it turned off...I dont trust them in saxo's, unless my car starts smoking, more then one light coming on or loosing power I don't pay attention to it!

   It was a few years ago now and I did work
   For Toyota so got discount rates, but it was like £15 for the plug in and free to turn TH light off if it wasnt a serious fault. But if it was something wrong, we did free check if you took the repaired with us...if that makes sense!!

    Great bit of kit, puts out all engine lights and gives you the fault code.
