Manifold

   Quite a significant blow from manifold. Im no mechanic and am no where near competent to start taking stuff apart, but from what i can gauge it isn't supposed to do that
   
   Is it a serious problem as i'm getting a new car in Feb so will be keeping off road as a project. Or will it last for 2 more months? Additionally any idea of what the problem could be? Other than poor craftsmanship from a mechyy? As i had a cat put on and the silencer taken off recently...

   if its blowing then your losing pressure and ure probably going to use more fuel.

   might just need resealing?? is it between the manifold and down pipe? its just 3 nuts and a gasket. just had mine redone and needed 3 new studs and new nuts but blowings stopped.

   New manifold or as said it just needs resealing if you take a look at your air filter you`ll probably notice its black the exhaust gases will be getting sucked back up richening the mixture and upping fuel consumption.
