windscreen wipers not working

    the other day i tried to swish my wipers but they where frozen up. now the weather is a bit better they have thawed out but dont work. the fuse seems okay.

    also another thing, every now and again when i go to swish them then creap up the window. its all very odd. but im going mental with everything braking on this car. its an R reg saxo 1.1. and it does nothing but break. it hates me. lol.

    any help would be appriciated as im quite clueless..... thankyou xx

    When they were 'frozen up' did you free them so they could move? Did you switch the car off? If you dont do anything they well keep trying to move and burn out the motor. Which did you do?

    i flicked the washer to go on. which swishes about 5 times or something doesn't it, automatically. then i didn't touch it again after they didn't move.

    i find it weird if i press it now they kind of creep up the window......

    Its probably because they burnt out while you were sitting there watching em.

    How can you not think so? Either they do or they dont? did they not then but they do now??

    Is your car running at all? All the electrics cant be duff if the wipers will creep.

    no my car decided that the brake lights, wipers heaters and demister and windows would all stop working. lol the windows was a fuse and thats all better now.

    john had commented on one of my other posts i think he was having a little joke so i joked back. thats all. just a bit of light heartedness.

    I was not being sarcastic, I am just trying to get to the bottom of the problem. Is that all right with you? Either it does or it doesnt, even a female will be able to tell the difference!

    Before I give up and watch 'Location Location' in TV, Are all your electrics dead? If so join the AA [homestart]. What is this windows fuse? I dont know what the hell you are one about? Hehe

    Fuse in the dash section that relates to windscreen wipers etc. She has a series of electrical problems that I suspected were fuse related but turns out they're likely not, more connection/moisture related issues.

    WOW, STOP ARGUING..... when i wiped the brake lights over the wipers strangely started to work? ( i have absolutely no idea )..... however they are slower then usual and wont work at all on 3rd speed...... its the weirdest thing. i still need to wipe out the second brake light holder though. its been pouring down since the miracle of brake light holder cleaning began.

    P.S. I'LL IGNORE ALL THE LITTLE DIGS AT ME BY THE WAY...... AS MY CARS STOPPED BEING SUCH A GRUMP BAG, SO IM A HAPPY GIRLY ! !!!!
