It's the shape, in my opinion.. big and round isnt good

here's a 4.5" one on my first car, i don't think i'd go that big again but i prefer how its an oval shape. Then again the angle doesnt really show...

3" is the biggest you can go IMO before it starts to look tacky. Iv got a 3" saxsport on mine and that's perfect! Maybe just get it to sit higher up on the bumper and straighter/further under the car so it doesn't stick out as much!

that looks bigger than 4" but maybe it's just because it's sitting low, first neaten it up, i got some powerflex universal mounts which are expensive but done the job for me, once i lowered my car my piper sat about 25mm lower than the top of the recess, you should be able to sort it out with them, or hack and bend the brackets.

tbh mates its your car, if you could just get it to sit higher i think it would look BETTER not saying it looks bad just not spot on mate, have a little play or even get smaller rubbers to try and get it to sit higher, as long as you like it then its all that matters

WOWWWWW that last pic (y621ral) looks like you could drive up that exhaust!

big exhausts are tricky....when u have a 1.1 or whatever, and you put a big exhaust on it, it just sounds naff....at the time you think its cool, but a couple of years down the line you'll realise it was a bad choice lol

i had one on my corsa 1.0 and at the time though it sounded the bollocks, but now ive got a bigger engine car, i realise what a tool i must have looked like!

Shit the bed there's some big exhausts in here.

4" can look OK, but needs to be the right style, and sat right. 3" suits them best IMO, although 2" (Saxsport/Pugsport stylee) doesn't look bad either.
