#2it could be your driveshaft knocking
-
#3yes but would'nt the driveshaft allways be knocking when i go round corners this only happens some times, could it be the spring maybe?
-
#4could be a number of things, wishbone bolts, bushes, droplinks, track rod ends, broken springs.
best thing to do is jack up and remove tyre and have a good look around. -
#5ok thanks mot is 21st, will it fail while its knocking?
-
#6totally depends on what the problem is mate as they will inspect the suspension.
try checking your wishbone bolts inside the footwells as 80% of the time this causes the knocking.
while your cars jacked + tyre removed hit the bottom your droplink upwards, if you hear a knocking noise thell need replaced.
also check all the bushes and joints for splits/wear -
#7First port of call is to check the CV joints of your driveshafts..
Most parts have different knocking noises, driveshaft is normally clicking when going round a corner
As above posted get the wheel of and get someone to free up the steering wheel to turn it the direction of the noise -
#8i have the same noise but it is when i turn and it is all the time and it is my drive shaft
-
#9yes il get it jacked up on the weekend if i cant find what it is i will just take it to the garage.
