easiest way is to get the vts loom, im guessing the gti engine is a single plug?

Ya it is a single plug. Someone said to me that you can change the plugs on the vtr loom for the gti engine.

    Anyone got a vts loom.

    Thanks

eh? dont really know what they meant by that lol you have a vtr loom for vtr engine and vts loom for vts engine, simple really lol no point in trying to butcher looms when you can have one that fits perfectly

ahhh i see sorry i didnt re-read your first post lol that could very well work actually by chopping the big multi connectors off and soldering the vtr one on.... hmmmm it would be best to start a specific thread about that BUT a vts loom wouldnt be much i wouldnt have thought and you know it would work

Im doing a Quikky to VTR conversion and i decided to change the interior loom over to match the engine, wasnt the hardest job in the world took a few hours worst bit was taking the dash out which isnt that difficult obviously with a interior loom change involves taking the wings off etc but if your doing a engine change its not that much extra work.

did you have to fit different clocks?

but even if it isnt much extra work, its still work that doesnt have to be done if the correct loom is bought in the first place
