just a quickie, im going to spray my centre console surround and was just wondering if ill need a special tool to remove the cdplayer?

if its a standard OEM headunit then you just need din removal keys (small thin things...they're in a V shape when you buy them). You can use other bits to do it but risk fucking it up. They're a fiver from Halfords.

Some citroen OE spec audio have little rubber bungs 1 at each corner of the unit remove these and put a self tapping screw in then grip to screws (2 should do) and pull the unit it should come out,aftermarket 1`s as said will need a special tool.
I just went a garage and asked if they could take it out for me. that way I didn't need to waste money on something I will only use once

Worth noting if its not the standard Saxo CD player
There's a good chance the previous owner didn't lock the Headunit into the cage.
Put your hand behind it from the passenger side foot well and you might be able to push it out
