Left the car in to get looked at for mot and the bushes in the rear axel is gone, driveshaft's also gone so really im best off just selling it on I got told what you guys think?

#2Not at all, can get a refurbished rear axle for about £100 i believe and the driveshaft is so easy to replace..

#4Do it yourself mate.
Driveshafts are simple.
Beam, you might want to pay a Garage to do that, as I tried to do mine on Axle stands and the car fell on me.
Not expensive though.

#9Don't know much about the back axle but as far as the drive shaft is concerned, i picked up a brand new one for £45 and its a piece of piss to fit, you can easy do it yourself mate

#12Hmmm I'll have a more detailed talk with my mechanic tomorrow and maybe get a 2nd opinion. Can anybody link me to the guide for the driveshafts please? So which is more the price of a back axel? £100 or £300?
