engine vibation

   my engine has suddenly started making the car vibrate it shakes every thing its a vts does any one know what this could be

   prob's the engine mount under the ecu. undo the bolts and pull it up if it comes off in your hand then the bolt has snapped u need a new bolt and a new mount. will cost about 35 quid from citroen.

   +1 mine was knocking, top mounts where completly corroded to nothing lol and lower gearbox was also fooked

   Does this happen from a stand still or when car is moving?

   whenever the engine is running as it just sits on a little rubber pad if the bolt has snapped and as the rubber wears it will get worse. and as the rubber wears away you will also get a hum when metal vibrates against metal.
